Navigating the world of intellectual property and trademarks requires comprehensive knowledge and a high level of competency in a diverse multitude of complex tasks. To be successful at meeting all the needs of clients and the legal team, Nachele employs her sophisticated organizational skills and keen eye for detail. Her duties include:

Filing U.S and International trademark applications with accurate information

Monitoring the entire trademark application process, including filing renewals to retain trademark rights

Reviewing specimens to prove the use of trademarks

Monitoring communications and next steps for trademark prosecution

Tracking upcoming tasks that need to be performed

Correctly following USPTO directions, as well as directions from foreign counsel

Nachele was first introduced to the idea of becoming an Intellectual Property Paralegal by a mentor who encouraged her to pursue this career. Once Nachele got her foot in the door with IP law, she knew she’d found her passion. She thrives on the levels of trust and responsibility her role requires and loves providing excellent customer care while being a reliable guide for clients.&nbsp;

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Western New Mexico University, where she graduated cum laude, Nachele went on to obtain her Paralegal Certificate at Ashworth College. She recently decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership Development.

In addition to her formal education, Nachele has a wide range of technical and team skills. From managing complex databases to innovating solutions, Nachele’s wide array of talents makes her an invaluable asset to the firm.

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Nachele currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Outside of work, she coaches girls club volleyball. Nachele also enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband and children. &nbsp;
